Jake Zagar

Position title: AMRDC Student Intern

Jake Zagar joined the Antarctic Meteorological Research and Data Center (AMRDC) as a student hourly intern in early 2026. In his role, he supports the group’s communication efforts and assists with various ongoing research projects and data initiatives. Jake is currently pursuing a degree in Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences at the University of Wisconsin–Madison and plans to graduate in the spring of 2027. Outside of his studies and work with the AMRDC, Jake enjoys traveling, going on long bike rides, and photography.
