Sophie Orendorf

Sophie is a research intern working for the AMRDC on a variety of tasks as a scientific programmer.

Prior to working for the AMRDC, Sophie worked as a data analyst for the Cooperative Institute for Great Lakes Research (CIGLR) at the University of Michigan. At CIGLR, Sophie researched the binational performance of the National Water Model in the Great Lakes region, current, wave, and ice interactions in Lake Erie, and over-lake radiative fluxes. During their graduate studies, Sophie researched convective windstorms in a future climate.
